As part of Michael Anthony García’s exhibition Nuestros Propios Jardines, he presents mycorrhizae, a spoken-word performance inviting audience collaboration using their voices and cellphones. Named for the subterranean fungal–root networks that sustain plant life, the work mirrors this symbiosis by connecting participants in a shared network within grayDUCK. Poetic and musical, the performance invites attendees to contribute to a collective expression of our common humanity.
